RICHARD WILSON

Richard Wilson came aboard in 1976 after an exciting stint as keyboardist and marionettist at the World of Sid and Marty Krofft which went out of business in downtown Atlanta.  Here are Mitch Deutsch (left) and Richard relaxing in the stage level star dressing room they helped create for Linda Ronstadt, the first attraction at the newly-reopened Fox on October 29, 1975.

The stage level dressing room had for years been occupied by the stage hands, and restoring the two stage level dressing room was a high priority.  Sadly, this prime real estate is once again used for purposes other than dressing.

An article which appeared in the Atlanta Gazette tells the story of Ted Stevens, Charles Walker, and Richard Wilson in great detail.  For a PDF click here
