Miss Riggs, according to my father, "rocked out" of the Fox as Ed Neiss' assistant without warning for points northward, but she did not make it to the opening of Cobb. When last I saw her, she was GM of a theatre outfit with a one-room office in Studioplex, where the Local used to live.

For the record, I worked the first show at Cobb, which was not a show. Chris Manos teched his outstanding 50th anniversary production of West Side Story there for a summer tour, and it played the Fox a month later. He employed the original 27-piece pit instrumentation.
