In permit drawings prepared on behalf of the Fox, the late Joe Patten's apartment is to be converted into office space for theatre purposes. Fox Theatre Inc. current top management and Board are the same people who unsuccessfully attempted to evict Patten from his apartment ten years ago. On this plan of the lower level, Joe's kitchen (left) is labeled "Break Room" and in his office (right) the hinged bookcase is not shown.
Here is their summary of work, and somehow they are exempted from providing handicap access to the upper level. Joe's 36 year tenancy is referred to as "temporarily used as an apartment."
Here are the notes which pertain to the drawing above, and they plan to retain Joe's safe-- twice.
